What is the PAYATE Card Generator?
It generates correctly formatted sandbox test card numbers by BIN, with custom expiry, CVV and quantity. Every value is synthetic — made for development, QA and learning, not for real payments.
Are the generated numbers real or usable for payments?
No. They only follow the public format (prefix, length and Luhn shape). They are not issued by any bank, carry no funds, and cannot be used for real purchases.
What is a BIN and why do I enter one?
The BIN is the first 6–8 digits that decide the network and format. Entering one makes the generated numbers follow that scheme's pattern, so you get realistic, correctly shaped test data.
Do the generated numbers pass the Luhn check?
Yes. Each number is built to pass the Luhn (mod-10) checksum, so it is well-formed for testing input validation in sign-up and checkout forms.
Can I generate cards in bulk and export them?
Yes. Set the quantity, generate many at once, and copy or export them for your automated tests and demos. For more formats see the Bulk Generator.
Is it legal to use this generator?
