Safe Checker
Pick the verification method that fits your workflow — all in a safe sandbox.
Choose a verification method
PAYATE gives you a few ways to check card data format in a sandbox. Every method runs against simulated responses — no real card, bank or payment network is involved. Start with the one that suits you:
What is Safe Checker?
Safe Checker is a hub for PAYATE's sandbox verification tools. Instead of one fixed page, it lets you jump to the checker that matches your task — a quick format and Luhn checksum validation, a grouped batch pass, or a simulated results view for building an interface. It is aimed at developers and QA testers who need to see how valid, declined and unknown states behave before touching a real payment gateway.
Is it safe?
Yes. Nothing here connects to a bank or card network. All checks are on the structure of the data only (length, format, checksum), and every result is synthetic. No card number is validated against a real account and no input is stored. Use it for development, testing and learning — see our Disclaimer and methodology.
Frequently asked questions
What is Safe Checker?
Safe Checker is a hub for PAYATE's sandbox verification tools. It lets you jump to the checker that matches your task — all running against simulated responses, never a real card or bank.
Does it contact banks or verify live cards?
No. Nothing here connects to a bank or card network. Every check is on the structure of the data only (length, format, Luhn checksum), the results are synthetic, and no input is stored.
What methods are available?
Card Verify is a format & Luhn validator, PayCheck runs grouped batch passes, and Mock Checker gives a simulated results view for building a dashboard.
What does "verification" mean here?
Format-level checks — length, structure and the Luhn checksum. It is not a real authorization and says nothing about whether a card is active or funded.
Who is it for?
Developers and QA testers who want to see how valid, declined and unknown states behave before touching a real payment gateway.
Are the results real?
No. All outcomes are synthetic and simulated, for development, testing and learning only.
