What PAYATE is for
PAYATE is a set of free developer tools and plain-English guides for payment cards, testing and data formats. Everything it produces — card numbers, addresses, profiles — is randomly generated and completely synthetic. It is built for developers, QA testers, students and merchants who need realistic-looking sample data to build and test forms, parsers and checkout flows. Nothing here is a real card, holds any funds, or can be used for a real purchase.
The tools, one by one
Enter the first 6–8 digits of a card to identify the scheme, card type, issuing bank and country. Reads public BIN ranges only — no full number needed. Open
