Case Converter

Convert text between camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, Title Case, Sentence case, UPPERCASE and lowercase — each with a Copy button. Everything runs live in your browser — your data is never sent anywhere and nothing is stored.

How to use the case converter

  1. Type or paste your text into the box above.
  2. Every case — camel, Pascal, snake, kebab, constant, Title, Sentence, UPPER and lower — updates live as you type.
  3. Click Copy on any row to put that version on your clipboard.

The programmer cases (camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE) treat the input as one identifier, while UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case and Sentence case keep your spacing and line breaks intact.

Frequently asked questions

What are naming cases?

Naming cases are conventions for joining and capitalising the words in an identifier or phrase. Common ones are camelCase (myVariableName), PascalCase (MyVariableName), snake_case (my_variable_name), kebab-case (my-variable-name), CONSTANT_CASE (MY_VARIABLE_NAME), plus plain Title Case, Sentence case, UPPERCASE and lowercase.

When should I use each case?

It depends on the language and context. camelCase is common for variables and functions in JavaScript and Java; PascalCase for classes and components; snake_case for variables in Python and Ruby and for database columns; kebab-case for URLs, CSS classes and file names; and CONSTANT_CASE for constants and environment variables. Title and Sentence case are for headings and prose.

Is my text stored anywhere?

No. All conversion runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is stored. It is safe for text you would not want to transmit, and it works offline once the page has loaded.

Does it handle multiple words and lines?

Yes. The converter splits your text into words by spaces, punctuation and existing case boundaries, so phrases of many words convert correctly. For the programmer cases (camel, Pascal, snake, kebab, constant) the whole input is joined into a single identifier; UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title and Sentence case preserve your line breaks and spacing.
