  1. Type or paste your text, or click Load from .txt file to import a plain-text file.
  2. Pick the page size (A4 or Letter), orientation, font size and margin.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Text to PDF converter work?

You paste or type your text, pick a page size, orientation, font size and margin, then click Download PDF. The tool lays the text out with the standard Helvetica font, wraps long lines to fit the page width, keeps your line breaks, and adds as many pages as needed. The finished PDF downloads straight to your device.

Is my text uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library — your text is never sent to a server and nothing is stored. It is safe for private or sensitive notes.

What page sizes and orientations are supported?

You can choose A4 or Letter, in either portrait or landscape orientation. The text is re-wrapped automatically to match the usable width after your chosen margin is applied.

Can I load text from a .txt file?

Yes. Use the Load from .txt file button to read a plain-text file from your device into the editor. The file is read locally in the browser — it is not uploaded anywhere.

Does it handle long documents and page breaks?

Yes. The converter paginates automatically: when the text fills a page it starts a new one, so documents of any length are split across multiple pages cleanly.

What happens to special characters or emoji?

The built-in Helvetica font supports the standard WinAnsi character set (Latin letters, digits and common punctuation). Characters outside that set — such as emoji or some non-Latin scripts — are replaced with ? so the PDF always generates without errors.
