PAYATE Card Generator

Generate sandbox test card formats for development and testing

Frequently asked questions

What is the PAYATE Card Generator?

It generates sandbox test card numbers from a BIN, with optional expiry, CVV, quantity and an export format (CHECKER, CSV, JSON or XML). Every value is synthetic and for development and testing only.

Are the numbers real or usable for payments?

No. They follow the public card format only — not issued by any bank, carry no funds, and cannot be used for real purchases.

How does it build the numbers?

It replaces the x placeholders in your BIN with random digits and appends a Luhn check digit, so every generated number passes the Luhn (mod-10) checksum.

What can I include in the output?

You can add an expiry month and year, a CVV, choose the export format, and set the quantity (up to 100 per run).

Do the numbers pass the Luhn check?

Yes. Each number is built to pass the Luhn checksum, so it is well-formed for testing sign-up and checkout forms.

What's the difference from the Bulk Generator and Card Validator?

The Bulk Generator is tuned for large batches and exports, while the Card Validator checks numbers you already have instead of generating them.
