Merge PDF

Combine several PDF files into a single document, in the exact order you choose. Everything runs in your browser — your files are never uploaded anywhere and nothing is stored.

Drop PDF files here or Your files stay on your device — nothing is uploaded.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Drop your PDF files into the box above, or click browse your device to select them.
  2. Reorder the list with Move up / Move down, and drop any file with Remove.
  3. Click Merge PDFs. The combined file downloads as merged.pdf — no upload, no waiting on a server.

Because the merge happens on your own device, it works offline once the page has loaded and is safe for sensitive documents.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?

No. Merging runs entirely in your browser — your PDF files are read and combined on your own device and nothing is uploaded to a server or stored. It is safe for private or confidential documents.

How do I set the order of the merged PDF?

After you add files they appear in an ordered list. Use the Move up and Move down buttons to arrange them, and Remove to drop one. The final PDF is assembled top-to-bottom in exactly that order.

Is there a limit on the number or size of files?

There is no fixed limit, but everything is processed in your browser’s memory, so very large files or a very high page count can be slow or run out of memory on low-end devices. Merging a handful of normal documents works quickly.

Why did a file fail to load?

A file can fail if it is not a real PDF, is corrupt, or is encrypted / password-protected. Such files are flagged in the list and skipped; remove the password (or re-export the PDF) and add it again.

Does merging change the quality of my PDFs?

No. Pages are copied as-is into the new document, so text, images and vectors keep their original quality. The merge simply places each source document’s pages one after another.

What browsers does this work in?

Any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on desktop or mobile. JavaScript must be enabled because all the work happens on your device.
