What can I turn into a QR code?

Is my data sent to a server?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser — the text you type never leaves your device and nothing is stored. That makes it safe for private links and data.

Can I download the QR code?

Yes. After generating, click Download PNG to save the image. You can then print it, embed it on a page or share it.

What size and error correction should I use?

Bigger is easier to scan from a distance; 300–400px is a good default for print. Higher error correction lets a code still scan if part of it is damaged or covered by a logo, at the cost of more density.

Do the codes expire?

No. A QR code is just an encoded image of your text, so it works forever. If it points to a URL, it keeps working as long as that URL does.
