Frequently asked questions

Does the tab need to stay open for the alarm to ring?

Yes. The alarm runs in the page, so keep this tab open (it can be in the background) for it to sound. If you close the browser or put the device fully to sleep, it will not ring.

Can I set more than one alarm?

Yes. Add as many alarms as you like, each with its own time and label, and switch any of them on or off without deleting it.

Are my alarms saved if I come back later?

Yes. Alarms are stored in your own browser, so they are still there next time on the same device. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Why did it not make a sound?

Browsers only allow sound after you interact with the page, so press a button once (adding an alarm is enough) to enable audio. Background tabs may also lower the volume or delay it slightly.

Does it use a 12- or 24-hour clock?

The display follows your device's locale, and the time picker uses your browser's format (often 24-hour). Set the hour and minute you want and it rings at that moment.

Is it free?

Completely free, no sign-up — an online alarm clock you can leave open while you work.
