Image Watermark

Add a text watermark to your photo with full control over font size, color, opacity, rotation and position — or tile it across the whole image. Everything runs in your browser — your image is never uploaded anywhere and nothing is stored.

JPG, PNG, WebP and more. Your image stays in your browser.

How to add a watermark to an image

  1. Drop an image onto the box or click choose a file to load it.
  2. Type your watermark text and adjust the font size, color, opacity and rotation.
  3. Pick a spot on the 3×3 position grid, or switch on Tile / repeat to stamp it across the whole image.
  4. Choose PNG or JPG and click Download. The watermark is applied at the image's full resolution.

The entire process happens on your device — the image is never sent to a server, so it works offline and keeps private pictures private.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. The watermark is drawn entirely in your browser with the native HTML canvas — your image is never uploaded to any server and nothing is stored. It is safe for private or confidential pictures.

Does watermarking reduce my image quality?

The watermark is drawn onto your image at its original (natural) resolution, not the smaller preview size, so you keep full quality. Exporting as PNG is lossless; JPG is smaller but applies light compression.

Can I tile the watermark across the whole image?

Yes. Turn on Tile / repeat to stamp the text diagonally across the entire picture — useful for proofs or protecting photos. Turn it off to place a single watermark using the 3×3 position grid (corners, edges or center).

What image formats can I load?

Any image your browser can open — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame) and more. You can pick a file with the button or drag and drop it onto the drop area. If a file fails to load, you will see a message so you can try another.

Should I export PNG or JPG?

Choose PNG when you need a lossless result or the image has transparency. Choose JPG for photographs where a smaller file size matters more than perfect fidelity. JPG does not support transparency.

Can I change the watermark opacity, angle and color?

Yes. You control the text, font size, color, opacity and rotation, and the position on the image. The live preview updates as you adjust each setting, so you can fine-tune before downloading.
