How to use the online notepad

- Press Download for a
.txtfile, Copy to grab the whole text, or Print to print or save as PDF. - Use A+ / A− to set a comfortable text size.
Your note lives only on your device. It is handy for a fast scratchpad, a temporary clipboard between apps, writing without distraction, or jotting ideas you do not want to lose.

Is my text saved, and where?
Yes. Everything you type is saved automatically in your own browser (using localStorage), so your note is still here when you come back on the same device and browser. It is never uploaded to a server and we cannot see it.
Will I lose my note if I close the tab or refresh?
No. The note is saved as you type, so closing the tab, refreshing, or restarting the browser will keep it. It is cleared only if you press Clear, or if you erase your browser's site data.
Can I download or copy my note?
Yes. Press Download to save the note as a .txt file, or Copy to put the whole text on your clipboard. Print opens your browser's print dialog.
Is it really free, with no sign-up?
Completely free, with no account and no sign-up. Open the page and start typing.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, typing and auto-saving keep working without a connection, because everything runs in your browser. Reopening the page while offline may not work unless your browser cached it.
Is my writing private?
Yes. All of it stays on your device — nothing is transmitted or stored on our side, so you can safely keep private notes, drafts and ideas here.
