Time Zone Converter
Convert any date and time between the world's time zones, with automatic daylight-saving handling and live UTC offsets. Everything runs in your browser — your data is never sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
How to use the time zone converter
- Set the date & time — it starts at your current local time.
- Choose the From zone (where that time is) and the To zone (where you want it).
- Read the converted date, time and day of the week. Use swap to reverse the direction instantly.
The converter uses standard IANA zones such as America/New_York, Europe/London,
Africa/Cairo, Asia/Dubai, Asia/Kolkata and Asia/Tokyo,
and applies the correct UTC offset for the exact date you pick.

Frequently asked questions
What is a time zone converter?
A time zone converter takes a date and time in one place and tells you the matching date and time somewhere else. You pick a From zone and a To zone, enter a time, and it shows the converted result including the day of the week — handy for scheduling calls, flights or online meetings across regions.
What are IANA time zones?
IANA zones are the standard identifiers like America/New_York, Europe/London or Asia/Tokyo. Each one carries its full history of offsets and daylight-saving rules, so conversions stay correct even around the days the clocks change.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Conversion uses your browser's built-in Intl.DateTimeFormat with the real IANA rules, so daylight-saving shifts are applied automatically for the exact date you enter — you never have to add or subtract an hour yourself.
What does the UTC offset mean?
The UTC offset, shown as something like UTC+01:00 or UTC-05:00, is how far a zone is ahead of or behind Coordinated Universal Time. The tool shows the offset for each selected zone on the date you chose, because it can differ in summer and winter.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Every conversion runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is stored. The tool works offline once the page has loaded.
Why is the list of zones so long?
When your browser supports Intl.supportedValuesOf, the tool loads the complete list of IANA zones it knows. If that is unavailable, it falls back to about forty of the most common zones so the converter still works everywhere.
