What can I use the tally counter for?
Anything you count by hand: people at an event or door, inventory and stock, exercise reps and sets, laps, knitting or crochet stitches, cars or birds passing, score keeping, and more.
Does it remember my count if I close the page?
Yes. The current count and your step are saved in your own browser, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Can I count down or by more than one?
Yes. Set the Step to any whole number and the − button subtracts it, so you can count down or move in 2s, 5s, 10s, and so on. The count can go negative.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. Space or + adds one step, − (minus) subtracts a step, and Backspace resets to zero.
Is it free and private?
Completely free, no sign-up, and private — the whole thing runs in your browser.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The big buttons are made for tapping, so it works well as a handheld clicker on a phone or tablet.
