Frequently asked questions
What is Mock Verify?
Mock Verify is a sandbox tool that simulates a card-verification result for demonstration and testing. The results are simulated, not real, and no bank or payment gateway is contacted.
Are the verification results real?
No. Mock Verify returns simulated outcomes for UI testing and learning. It cannot confirm whether a card is real, active or has funds.
What is Mock Verify used for?
Testing how an application handles verification responses, and learning — using synthetic test data instead of real cards.
Does Mock Verify store card data?
No. It is a demonstration tool and does not store card numbers or any input.
Mock Verify vs. PayCheck — what's the difference?
Both are sandbox demos. Mock Verify simulates a verification response flow, while PayCheck focuses on card-number format validation.
Where can I get test numbers?
Use the Card Generator to create synthetic numbers, or the Card Validator to check a number's format.
